Under the Medicare Allied Health Initiative, individuals referred by a GP with a chronic health condition can receive a Medicare rebate.

You will require a referral from your General Practitioner if you wish to claim the Medicare refund.

Fees are determined by DVA. There are no out of pocket expenses for the veteran as DVA claims will be done in full by ADVANCED Dietetics.

You will require a referral from your General Practitioner to claim a consult under DVA.

Most private health funds provide partial rebates for dietetic services to members with a certain level of cover (usually full extras cover). You will need to check with your provider to see if you are eligible.

Other services are available on request such as lecturing, menu reviewing, group educations and report/article writing etc. Fees for other services can be negotiated.
